Just a personal reaction, for me this would work better if turned 180ยบ to the right, then what I see as two legs would become roof beams ... But these are luscious works you are creating and make me want to get out my inks and do something visual with my hands ...
Thanks...I actually debated turning it for the post...The "legs" felt sort of like a divided highway going toward a horizon...but the leg syndrome was a definite threat!
I realise too that the short strokes give the impression of being within a building - NOT that I want, or need, representation, I far prefer suggestion.
I like this. The weird thing is I can't even say why. It just somehow pulls me in.
Also, it is funny how everyone see something else in art. When it first looked at it, I moved my laptop around and preferred the original post as a vertical shot, flipped to a left.
Hey! Thanks for playing with the image! It is sort of a weird one..I couldn't decide why I liked it either...It just seemed done so I stopped. I am just letting this whole serious have a mind of their own.
I am unbothered by its orientation in any layout...what does it for me is that un-graffiti-ing through the black paint, calling to mind Jim's daily asemic poems.
